Too few registrations
A requirement for a successful teaching practice is that trial lessons lead to registrations. If there are no registrations from your trial lessons, it yields nothing for you and us. There are several reasons why trial lessons may not lead to a registration.
- The booked trial lessons did not take place. Did you have to cancel trial lessons? Limit your available times to the times when you are truly available. If you are still unable to attend, immediately propose a new time to reschedule the lesson.
- You did not have good students. If the students do not match well with you as a teacher, you may need to explain more clearly in your profile what your lessons look like. Also, provide clear photos of the lesson space. Increasing your prices can also help to get more serious bookings.
- The trial lessons go well, but you never hear from the students again. Some of the students may intend to register, but it does not happen. Therefore, make concrete agreements during the trial lesson. Schedule a preliminary follow-up appointment with the student and discuss the lesson duration and format they would like with the agreement that they will register before that time.
- Everything is going well, but the students pay you outside of us. It goes without saying, but this is not allowed. Students who come to you through us must remain registered through us for the duration of their lessons with you. If you do not want this, you can buy this off, which means you pay us a one-time amount to be able to invoice the student yourself.
Hopefully, you find this information helpful. Feel free to let us know if you have any questions about this.
